Manufacturing Craftsmanship
WINGTONE was founded in 1980 by Chairman, Mr. Yuan-Shi Lee, who was one of the three founders of San Shing Hardware Works, the world’s top nut supplier at the time. Wingtone began with the development of solid rollers produced by cold-forming technology—a revolutionary advancement that reshaped roller production for global chain manufacturers. This technology was later adapted to produce collars for Lockbolt systems.
Throughout the 1980s and 1990s, WINGTONE played a pivotal role in supporting Taiwan’s roller chain and speaker industries by providing high-quality and cost-effectivecold-formed components. In 1991, WINGTONE relocated to Guan-Miao to meet rising international demand and expand production capabilities.
Since 1993, WINGTONE has been developing 7-station forming machines and continuously improving their performance to enhance production capabilities, enabling the manufacturing of automotive fasteners with more complex shapes and higher precision requirements.
WINGTONE obtained ISO 9002 certification in 1996, followed by QS 9000 certification in 1998. In 2000, the company began implementing a Management Information System (MIS) to improve operational efficiency. As the company’s primary market shifted to the automotive industry, it successfully achieved TS 16949 certification in 2006 and ISO/IEC 17025 laboratory accreditation in 2011.

With the replacement of outdated equipment and the increase in advanced production machinery, the original Guan-Miao factory became insufficient in space. To meet growing market demand, WINGTONE acquired land and constructed a new factory in the Shan-Hua District of Tainan. The new facility, which began operation in 2018, features environmentally friendly architectural design aimed at energy conservation and carbon reduction. Its organized and smokeless production environment provides employees with a safe and healthy workplace.
Today, WINGTONE continues to advance our technologies, uphold our strong reputation for quality, efficiency and customer trust, and ensure that our operations align with modern trends as we move toward sustainable development.
